Super Bean Boy — Terms of Service

Version 2.0 · Last updated 21 October 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you play Super Bean Boy. They are a contract between you and Beananza LTD, so they are written to be read rather than survived.

Beananza LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13598201, registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Contact: support@beananza.games

What we mean by a world seed. Every world in the game is made from a world seed: a word or short phrase that you type in, or that the game shuffles for you. The same seed always makes the same world, so a seed is also how a world is known — other players see it beside runs on the leaderboards and on any world somebody holds.

1. What this is

Super Bean Boy is a game about a boy who flies on his own farts. We licence it to you to play. You accept these terms when you tap Accept the first time you open the game, and by going on playing afterwards.

How we handle your data is a separate document, the Privacy Policy, which is not part of this contract — it is a notice, and nothing in it is something you have to agree to in order to play.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the game will ask you to accept the new version before you play again (§15).

2. Who can play

You must be 13 or older, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on your behalf. If your country sets a higher age for agreeing to a contract like this without a parent, that age applies to you instead.

If you are paying for anything, you must be old enough to use the payment method and have permission from whoever it belongs to.

3. Your licence to play the game

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Super Bean Boy on devices you control, for your own entertainment. That is the whole of what you get. We keep everything else — the game, its code, its art, its sound, its name and its characters are ours.

You may not: sell, rent, or sub-licence the game; copy or modify it; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it beyond what the law lets you do regardless of what a contract says; strip out or alter anything identifying us; or run it on anything other than a device you are entitled to use.

Buying something inside the game does not change any of this. It buys you the thing, inside the game, under §6.

4. Your account

You do not sign up. The first time you play, our server gives your installation a player number, and that number is your account.

One device at a time. An account is live on one installation. Signing in somewhere else takes it there and signs the first one out.

An account that is not connected to anything cannot be recovered. We have no name, no email and no way of recognising you, so if you lose the phone, the account is gone and we cannot give it back. That is not us declining to help; it is a consequence of not knowing who you are, and it is the honest reason to connect an account under §5.

You are responsible for what happens on your account while it is on your device.

5. Connecting an account

You can attach your progress to an Apple, Google, Facebook or Discord account, or to an email address confirmed by a six-digit code. This is optional and exists so that your game survives your phone.

If you sign in as a player this device was not, this device stops being the player it was and its progress is erased. The game says so plainly before it does it. It cannot be undone, and it is the one thing in this game that cannot.

You can disconnect a provider at any time from the Account page.

6. Virtual items

The game is full of things you can hold: golden beans, golden coins, golden pulp, gold oil, mystery boxes, potions, mushrooms, syrups, hats and trails.

None of them is money and none of them has any value outside the game.

Specifically, and this matters more than its length suggests:

  • They are a licence to use a feature of the game, not property you own.
  • They have no real-world value, no cash value, and no exchange rate out of the game — even where they were bought with real money.
  • They cannot be sold, traded, gifted, transferred or redeemed, for money or for anything else, inside the game or outside it.
  • Selling or buying them, or accounts holding them, anywhere outside the game is forbidden, and we may close accounts involved in it.
  • They exist only while your account does. If your account ends, they end with it, and nothing is owed to you for them.
  • We may change what they cost, what they buy and how they are earned, as part of balancing the game. We will not devalue something you have already bought without good reason, and we will not take away something you paid for while your account is in good standing.

What money cannot buy here. Golden coins buy cosmetics, refinery machines, materials and flags. They do not buy permanent skill levels or food digestion levels — those are earned by playing, through potions you refine yourself, and no amount of money shortcuts them. Nothing that affects how well you can play is behind a paywall. This is a design commitment we are writing into the contract on purpose.

Mystery boxes are never sold, for money or for coins. They are found while playing — and drinking a raw potion, which the Fart Mart sells for golden coins, shakes some loose. What is inside a box is random. The chance of each kind of prize is shown on the Mystery Box screen, and it is the same table the game draws from.

7. Buying things

All purchases go through Apple's App Store or Google Play. They take the payment, they hold your payment details, and their terms apply to the transaction alongside these.

Prices are shown in your own currency, inclusive of tax where the store handles it. Every price in coins also shows what it is worth in real money, and every bundle shows what a single coin costs inside it, so you can compare them without doing arithmetic.

Delivery. What you buy is credited to your account as soon as the store confirms the payment. If the game is offline, it is credited when it next reaches our server — not lost.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under their policies, and we cannot issue one directly. If a purchase failed, or arrived wrong, email support@beananza.games and we will help you sort it out with them — and if something is missing from your account because of a fault of ours, we will put it there.

If you are in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. Because what you buy is delivered to your account immediately, you are asked to agree to that immediate delivery when you buy, and doing so ends the 14-day right — this is the standard position for in-game purchases and the store's purchase sheet is where it happens. Your rights if something is faulty are untouched by any of this.

Restoring purchases. Anything permanent you bought — Remove Ads in particular — can be restored on a new device from Settings.

8. Ads

Unless you have bought Remove Ads, the game shows a banner during a climb, and may offer you a reward for watching a short ad. Watching one is always optional and never the only way to get anything.

Ads come from Google AdMob. In the UK and EU you are asked whether ads may be personalised; declining means you still see ads, just not chosen from a profile.

Remove Ads is a one-off purchase that removes the advertising from the game — not merely the banner. It is tied to your store account and can be restored.

9. Playing fairly

Play the game as it is. Do not:

  • modify the game, its save file, or the traffic between it and our server
  • use bots, macros, automation, emulators or any tool that plays for you
  • exploit a bug for advantage instead of telling us about it
  • use anyone else's account, or let anyone else use yours to gain something
  • attack, overload or probe our servers

Cheating closes accounts. If we find that an account has cheated, we will close it and remove its results from the leaderboards.

If you think a player is cheating, report it. Tap their row on the board to open their kingdom, tap REPORT and choose REPORT CHEATING. We look at every report, and the player is not told who reported them.

Hateful language. Do not put racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory language into a player handle or a world seed — spelled out, abbreviated, or disguised with numbers and symbols. A seed is shown beside your runs on the leaderboards, so whatever you type into one is there for every player to read.

We may close your account for this immediately and without warning. If we do, you lose all of your progress and everything you have bought in the game, and we will not refund, replace or compensate you for any of it.

10. Trails you draw

The Workshop lets you draw your own fart trail. What you draw is yours.

To make it work, you give us permission to store it, copy it, and show it — in your game, and to other players wherever your trail is visible, such as beside your name on a leaderboard. That permission is worldwide, royalty-free, and lasts as long as you keep the trail. It exists so we can run the feature and for nothing else: we will not use what you draw to advertise the game, sell it, or licence it to anyone.

Deleting a trail ends it. Deleting your account ends all of them.

Do not draw anything unlawful, or anything designed to depict something hateful. We can remove a trail that breaks this, and tell you why.

10A. Your name, your worlds, and how you treat other players

Other players can read your handle and any world seed you type in and climb, and they can see the paint you leave on the worlds you hold. So there are rules, and we have zero tolerance for breaking them. Do not use a handle or a world seed that:

  • is abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing or sexual
  • attacks anyone for who they are
  • pretends to be us, or somebody else
  • carries anybody's personal details, including your own
  • advertises anything, or points people somewhere outside the game

Every handle and world seed is checked before anybody else sees it: a handle that fails is not accepted, and a world seed that fails is withheld from everybody and its world cannot be held.

If you see a handle or a seed that breaks these rules, report it in the game. Open the player's kingdom (tap their row on any leaderboard), tap REPORT at the top, and choose REPORT NAME; for a world seed, tap Report this world's seed on that world's card. You can also write to us at support@beananza.games with the handle or the world seed. We look at every report promptly, and when one breaks the rules we change it, withhold it, remove what it is attached to, and — for anything serious, or a second time — close the account behind it. We may hide a reported handle or seed while we look at it.

You can block any player from the same card. You will not see their handle or their world seeds again (they appear as "Blocked player"), and they are not told. You can unblock them from Settings → Me → Account.

Worlds and flags. Planting a flag on a world lets you hold it in the game; it does not make the world, or its seed, yours. We may decide that any world seed cannot be held — a seasonal or special world that belongs to everybody, for example — at any time and for any seed. When we do, we may refuse new flags on that world and remove any flag or drone already standing on it. A flag or drone removed this way goes back to its owner, and nothing else is owed for the world, for any place on a leaderboard that came with holding it, or for the paint left on it.

11. The game will change

We update Super Bean Boy — new features, balance changes, fixes, and occasionally removing something that is not working. We may change or retire features, and we may stop supporting old devices or old versions of the game.

We try to keep it running, but we do not promise the game or its servers will always be available. Things break, stores go down, and the online half can be offline. The game is built to keep playing when our server cannot be reached, and your progress is queued until it can.

If we ever shut the game down for good, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can, and we will stop selling anything well before we stop running it.

12. Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting the game. To erase your account and everything in it, use Settings → Me → Account → Delete my account (Delete my progress, if you never connected your account to anything), or email support@beananza.games. It cannot be undone, and nothing is refunded for virtual items you still held.

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms — seriously, or repeatedly after we have told you. Where it is fair to, we will warn you first and tell you what happened. Cheating, and hateful language in a handle or a seed, are the exceptions (§9): we may close the account at once, and your progress and purchases go with it, with nothing refunded. If we get it wrong, email us and we will look again.

Sections §6, §13 and §14 survive your account ending.

13. What we promise, and what we do not

We will provide the game with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, the game is provided as it is: we do not promise it is free of bugs, that it will always be available, or that it will suit any particular purpose you have in mind.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost progress or virtual items where the cause was not ours, or for loss of profit, business or data. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to whichever is greater: £100, or what you have actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If you are a consumer, none of this affects your statutory rights. You have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (or your own country's equivalent) about digital content being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and nothing written here takes them away or makes them harder to use.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, and you can bring proceedings in your own local courts.

Please email support@beananza.games first. Almost everything gets sorted out that way, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about one. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects what you have agreed to — what you get, what you can do, or what happens to what you hold — the game will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before you play again.

Smaller corrections, like fixing a typo or saying something more clearly, are published here with a new date and no interruption. The current version is always at https://superbeanboy.com/legal/terms.

If you do not accept a new version, you can stop playing and delete your account under §12.
